front apron

If I put a older front apron like for a 66 or older on a 70 do I have to do more than just replace the apron and will the lid fit from an older bug or do I need to replace the front quarters also

As far as I know just the apron and hood is all you need. Also bumper mounts may not be included in aftermarket aprons, just an FYI. And early aprons has the bumpers going through them, later Beetles has the bumpers through the fenders so you may have 4 bumper holes now. Just fill in the 2 you don't want to use (or all 4).....
