A friend had one done locally for about $300. Would have been less expensive but we did nothing other than pull it from the car and drop it off at the shop. Took a lot of cleanup I am sure.

He also wanted it bead blasted instead of shot with aluminum oxide so it took longer to strip. Turned out great though.

$300 is a little steep, I think my Ghia top ran me about $150. But on the other side of that, I took it completely apart myself before giving it to the coater to blast and coat.

Thanks Guys I turned it in today....

I'm paying $80.00 Dollars for media blasting.... There is alot of Rust some areas.. Fixing all of this is going to be interesting... Most the rust is toward the under side on the front bow..

I'll Post Pictures when I get them developed...

I'm thinking of a Textured finish like Vein

Heh, I thought $300 was a *lot* steep. Thank goodness I wasn't buying :) I can't fit anything that large in my oven - guess I am just going to have to get a bigger one!

Anywho, they did do a phenomenal job. The wrinkle coat is really nice on stuff that has some slight surface imperfections. It'll help hide a lot.

Yeah, I did silver vein on my top frame, as well, to hide some of the pitting.
