plenum or isolated tube

Hi!
I have 40 horse engine whit big bore,ported single port heads,small cam,header and zenith.I have also isolated tube intake and plenum style intake.Now I need help to choose.What is bedder isolated or plenum?It´s daily driver,and I want it´s easy to drive.

Isolated manifold is better for a 40hp daily driver engine.

have you tryed plenum whit zenith

The way I remember it, Zeniths work better with a small plenum...as opposed to Holley Bugsprays, which have a connecting slot in their base that's all the plenum they need - run a plenum on a Bugspray and it'll only work right at high RPM, but not so on the Zenith.

I never tried with the old Zenith 32 NDIX but i used a Weber 36 IDF with some home made manifolds and tried the 40 hp engine with a engle Vz14 cam => the result were better without the plenum chamber in the lower rev range so i don't think it's a good idea for a daily driver engine.

So i need to try both...?Is it hard to do setup to zenit whit plenum?I think that will be a little problem....
