full flow issues type 3

I'm having issues with the cooling fan and my full flow fittings what have you guys done to remedy this?

I used a die grinder to create a channel/slot in the fan housing and to enlarge the rear hanger bracket opening to the left side of the oil pump - this allowed me to run a line with no 45 or 90° fittings off of the pump cover.

i'm having issues with the return fitting hitting on the fan shroud

I didn't have any problem there... the return 90° fitting had to be positioned nearly vertical for the line to arch over and clear the fan housing...

Hi,
I had the same prob with my type 3 engine after full flowing the case.
I ground down a small amount off the 90 degree fitting and used a die grinder on the fan housing in the corresponding spot. It was fiddly but it now fits fine and bolts up all the way. Hope this helps.
