Alignment problems

I've got a 71 Std Bug with new tie rod ends, ball joints, gearbox, brakes, shocks, had it aligned and it still turns hard and does not return to center after a turn. Stock height and tires/rims, turn normal/free with wheels off ground, any ideas? Goes down the road straight and no wandering.

What brand ball joints do you use , i once bought some aftermarket , they made it imposible to turn properly , to tight . Innstalled new vw product , and the car was back to normal function ! Maby it can help .

Can't remember the brand, maybe TRW, I know they weren't VW.
