can anyone tel me if it is worth my while knife edging my crank ( buisy building the motor ) fuel inj. T4 turbo 1.8 vw engine.

if so what specs should i request, and does anyone have a pic of a knifed crank as i have never seen one...?

I wouldnt see why its needed. They knife edge V8 cranks because it moves thru the oil. In our case, the cam sits below the crank, and the crank isnt in contact with the oil in the sump.
