Door post repair

After removing the drivers door, I found the bottom hinge are to be rusted out. Ordered a replacement piece from CIP1. Anyone replaced one of these? Any advice? Thanks all........C-ya

this guy welded just about every repair panel available restoring a 67 beetle not much detail, but then again it doesnt look that hard to do.

i didnt replace mine... i just repaired the inner fernder well... i probably should have, but didnt want to mess with getting the bolts out!

hi. i did an 'a' pillar repair about 4weeks ago on my bug. all i did was to first off cut all the rust out on the inside of the car, joggled the pillar, and the repair peice, then tacked that it to the heater channel, an to the inner wing, then i cut out the out fornt quater and welded a section in there. then you'll have to find some way off folding the lip over for the seam.
