Does anyone know of any companys that make a really good turbo set up for a big vw engine i'm talking like 2275 cc, something that would really make the engine run like a raped ape, but not kill me with my minimum wage job. Any webistes or details would be greatly appreciated

Good and minimum wage dont always go good together. heheheh
Any ways, you might have to do some shopping but take a look at what was made for me at TGFab.com under "in the shop". drop an email, it never hurts to ask.
Tracy does some real nice work. He spent the time and did up the header so i would not have to cut up the apron. He also set mine up to go on full kill if i want. Every thing is big about it. But since i am still class racing. i am only running 7-8 lbs to run 11.90's. and in early testing 10 lbs saw 11.40's, just think what 15 might do. Image although it was already based on a motor that put out 180-190 hp in aspirated form.

Hi guys, just wondering along the same lines.
I'm building a T4 2.6L, what kind of a turbo set up could I run ? I kinda like CB's dual carburated blow through design because it's hidden. I'm still in the dark with the kind of torque/hp figures that I'll have w/o a turbo...I was told between 150-170 hp. Could I run a 7.0 to 1 CR., & 8lbs. of boost without blowing off the heads ??? Could I see 200-220 hp. with those figures??
My engine is 103x78.
Cam 280 dur. & 435 lift. (Cam grinder claims that the cam flattens out at about 5500 rpm's.
For now I've got 2ltr. bus heads with stock valves. Could I still use them as is, or would bigger valves be needed ?
I hope that this is not way off topic for you guys. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Eddie
