water injection carbs ?

With Turbo and Super charging you can create massive horsepower with vw motors.

water injection carbs ?

I am building a t1 engine with efi and a turbo. My question is could I leave the dual carbs in place remove and plug the throttle plates lean them out and run them as a water injection/blow through carb type of system ? Or is this a silly idea ?
