Type 4 on the cheap

I have a stock round port (heads) 1800cc type 4 in a 74 bus. If I should make few mods to improve theperformancee what could those be?

How much do you have to spend? How far are you willing to dismantle it??

Hi, Jake,
I'm just getting a chance to respond to ur reply. My budget does not exist, nevertheless i was thinking that if i could make the sacrifice based on a mild mod. I could handle that. maybe the items could exist as a kit so that I could install them here in jamaica instead of thinking of sending the engine.
