2.0 Efficent Motor Cam choice

I've reached the next stage of my 2.0 efficent motor rebuild. So far, the case has been cleaned and galley plugged. I have scored a set of 90.5b wiseco pistons and had OG cylinders honed for them.

The heads have the relocated spark plug and a few other goodies done by Len Hoffman and Hopefully, after the New Year, I'll be the proud owner to a set of ceramic lifters (thanks Tony)...yeeessss.

I've originally wanted to go with carbs (40 Dell's), but, I'm leaning really hard towards fuel injection. My question to you, Jake is...which cam would you recommend (your part number) with the above parts, fuel injection and a 78.4 DPR crank. Also, would the A-1 exhaust be ok to use, being that it's 1 5/8".

BTW, how's Beth's car doing???

thanks
pete

Pete, email me [email protected]

and I'll help you with this selection, as it's too particular to broadcast.

Beth's car is on hold, we have a big move to make happen very soon, but hope to have the car done by mid summer....

I have another "Super 2 liter" almost completed for a very good customer of mine. It'll be on the dyno in a number of days.

This one will be much more than just dyno analyzed..... I'll be installing my 32 channel data logger in Beth's car to gather data that proves the MPG from a GPS based system that knows exactly how far the car has traveled at what average speed right down to how many G's of acceleration we have, not to mention logging every temp and pressure imaginable...

Cool are you still looking to set it up as a kit?
