911 fan and shroud, where do I put the oil?
Installing a 911 fan shroud and fan on a 2.1 liter type 4. As the fan takes the place of the old filler housing where does the oil filler go

You can use a Bus filler setup, if you are installing the motor in a rear-engine'd car. Not in the 914, though.
If not there, then you will have to fake up some way to get oil into the engine. Perhaps a hole in the alternator stand with a plug? The stock 914 dipstick might still work, possibly.

You can add a filler to the valve cover like the one shown on the cover of the FAT catalog. All depends on what type of vehicle it is going into. The bus filler location also sounds like a very feasible set up. That is the set up I'm using on my BAS Porsche style cooling on a 2366. Works well with easy accessibility.
