ALL Engine kit sales final!!!

No matter the excuses. No matter what transpires. No matter if you run your car off a cliff.
Engine kits are non returnable!
Some things that transpired today just increased the difficulty of a customer to order a kit so easily... You can bet your sweet ass that paperwork will be in order to keep this from occuring again!
From today forward all engine kit sales will follow the same paperwork that we require for a complete engine sale. Trust me, nothing is in fine print- Its all bold and stated clearly to give whiners the chance to STOP before they give us a dime.
I'd rather lose busines as put up with a whiner.

Long story and I wasn't quite clear enough in the past with the rules of engine kit sales...
Don't worry. That will be squared away by tomorrow morning.

Ok...maybe that was not the best term for an individual with a healthy ebay appetite....wink wink....nudge nudge......and yes it *is* just jealously, over the outrageously good deals he manages to find. Though, he does earn them with the amount of worthless crap I'm sure he sifts through looking for them.

Anyhow, enough thread jacking. I don't see anything but good coming from explicitly defining the "rules" of doing business in todays society. Just as the limitations on free tech support needed to happen, so then does this. Its is the effect of success. As word of the type 4 spreads, the less knowledgeable hear about it. Whereby, a few short years ago, it was mostly technically advanced hobbiest seeking parts(at least from what I obvserved thrid person through observation of teh various VW forums etc.) , now there are more people of all skill levels. Ths expands the market....and the headaches.

If a person isn't willing to buy an engine kit from you simply because they don't want to bother with some paper work, does that seem like the kind of person you'd want buying one of your engine kits, anyway?

Before my career change from Chef(bloody good one too) to Aviation, people would ring and book a table of up to 20 people or more, then on the night they wouldn't turn up, not only was this frustrating, but it also cost us money by putting on extra wait staff, turning other people away because of no tables left, and extra food being wasted. We then asked for a minimum 20% deposit for large groups, so if they didn't turn up we still got some money out of em. And 10 tables of 2 will net you more money than a table of 20. I hear you Jake people that commit then pull out need their head read. Hell ive been getting parts of you, and i live on the other side of the world, don't commit unless you can go through with the deal, or at least look real hard before you leap. Feelin your pain, cheers the man down under, Damo.

Geez, thats bad!
If I commit to buy something I always see it through, and if I dont think I can afford I wait!
Ah well, its all for the best.

Looks like a speedo for a T-3. Pretty rare with trip meter. Looks like that it is very good condition. Rich

Yup...that is probably a pre-70 T-3 with trip-meter. Nice photo too. Smart photographer .....gray on red. It could be a turd and still look fine. Ray
