So how much will the RPM's be affected on the freway by an extra .5"?
I'm leaning toward the 215/50/17's so I can match the brand of my front tires, otherwise I'd have to buy 4 new tires
Anyways thanks for your help again, and congratulations on all the business success :!: :D

*Installed height* can be varied by pressure>

I'm sure you'll be OK with the 50s.

I work at a tire store, and I didn't even think of that before
On the other hand, I got my sizes mixed up and they do make a 215/45/17 in a Continental ContiExtremeContact, which is about 24.62" tall so....

Go with the taller tire for the highway, then, when you want
*drag action*, lower the pressure to 12-15 lbs, reducing the
height for the *strip*!

After months of wating and slow resto., I've almost completed my project. I've got the spec. b in place with the 2.4 mounted to it. Right now everything fits snug and I'm mocking up fuel and oil lines. Should be ready to fire up in a couple weeks.

As long as we are on the subject, would the option ”B” be able to turn 31” tires with a 1800cc? I am planning to install a 2270 or 2056 latter but need something to get me from point “A” to point “B” in the mean time.

Also, is a Kafer brace enough for a 2270 and/or 2056?

Good job!!!

The B trans is designed to be used wit 24.5- 26" tall tires, using a 31" tire would kill its effectiveness..

Looks great man. What is it you have for the exhaust? What are your engine specs?

Looks like a bus header with a spark arrestor.

Ok, how did you get that displacement? Sounds interesting. The header looks the part too.

Looks great. I think the conversion for 71x103 comes out to 2366. Cool. I would love to get the actual specs of the enine. Did you shorten the headers?
