Mine had heated oil running threw it , no icing

wasn't a problem until the ambient temps were 60*f and below

I was happy to have the icing! Cool that intake charge!

Yes it is draw through. After driving I can still hold my hand on the intake even just few inches away from cylinder heads. Intake temp is really cool. No audible detonation at 21°
Hey that's actually some useful info for me! I also can place my hands on the intake after a few hard pulls. Its warm to the touch though. Maybe 90 to 100F.

Well the day I waited finally came. It broke.
I bent a rod, 4 dowel crank/flywheel broke too and broke one bearing.
I think this was it for this thread and it is time to start a new one and start a new build.
Thank you all who helped me on my journey! Definetly learned A LOT and I see that I'm ready to go a littlebit bigger for the next build and also learned a lot from mistakes I made that I won't do with my next engine build!
Engine lasted for about 1000km and I was running 1.5bar of boost, doing burnouts and streetracing all the time. Overall I'm happy that it lasted "that long". I really had a blast with this one!

RIP little 1641! Now on to bigger and better.
How big are you thinking? Are you reusing anything from the 1641?
